Personality: A positive individual who doesn't know the meaning of an 'inside-voice', Sahu is a joker who likes to call himself "Halapoji" [or "Grandpa"] and is always seen with his pipe. Despite being over-the-hill, Sahu is a surprisingly nimble guy who doesn't take no for an answer and often has an infectious and cheery demeanor, hardly ever showing his rough side. Most of the time it may seem like he doesn't listen [and he often doesn't] but he will sit down with you when you really need someone to lend an ear.

History/Bio: Born and raised in Lu Se, Sahu was a miner in the gem mines from an early age until a near fatal accident claimed the grai'zhul's arm and injured his left flank, leaving him without a job and a permanent limp. For a number of years Sahu was left without work due to his handicap and admittedly resorted to alcoholism until he decided to sober up in his mid 50's. Deciding to smarten up, Sahu took it upon himself to go through rehabilitation for his body and moved away from the port city for the slower paced beaches of Gue'chai. It was there that he initially took up casual fishing for money but quickly had to adapt to the harsher lifestyle and survive against the wild beasts which roamed the region and became a hunter as a result. The first few years were the hardest, especially since he had never had any sort of training or knowledge about hunting, and had many close encounters with death and even lost half of his tail along the way. Against all odds, however, Sahu excelled at his profession and became a skilled hunter after 30 years and is rather renown for his brutish swordplay and expert trapping skills. However he never takes full credit for his success without mentioning his faithful companion, Halmoni the zaoren. It was purely by chance that the two met but Sahu always claims that they met thanks to 'destiny'. He had come across her as a cub when he was out to hunt a dangerous mark that was causing havoc in the area which had inadvertantly stumbled across a pack of zaorens. It was a close battle and Sahu came out on top but, unfortunately, the mark had already taken down the zaoren pack before he could arrive to take it down. However, it was by a mere stroke of luck did Sahu find Halmoni and her siblings nearby. He took care to raise the cubs until they could survive on their own, never actually taming the beasts except for one: Halmoni. Since then, the two have created an incredibly close bond and have been an inseperable team since.

= Despite his obvious handicap, Sahu is still an excellent swimmer and proficient swordsman.

= Lives like a hermit and is rather disconnected from the public, living in the beach outskirts of Gue'Chai where beasts roam freely.

= Once in a blue moon he does take trips to Lu Se, but finds the crowds rather uncomfortable and doesn't stay for long.

= Dotes on his companion Halmoni, affectionately and teasingly referring to her as his "jealous wife".

= Likes to be called a grandpa thanks to having quite a few mates and plenty of grandchildren over the years. His kids visit him every so often whenever he stops by Lu Se.

= Whenever he drinks socially with others he always makes sure to stay away from drinking any alcohol himself, usually laughing heartily while saying "I'm already obnoxious enough without the booze!" as an excuse.
