    Weight: around 350-400lbs
    Eye color: Dark Grey
    Appearance: Very tall and lean bodied, Otieno is a giraffe who stands high above pretty near everybody. Two furred horns (or stubs) rest above his brow with a long reddish brown mohawk weaving its way around them [the length of the mohawk running down to his midback]. Shaved along the sides of his head, two long tufts of hair fall on each side of his narrow face and hide most of the spotted markings that mark his cheeks. On the left of his lower lip is a distinguishing spot and behind his side-bangs are two long white ears.
    Dark brown spots run down along the back of his elongated neck and down his spine which trails down to his long tail. Markings also cover his thighs and triceps. A white two-tone colouring run up from his feet to his calves and from his hands to his elbows. His fingers are also coloured a darkened brown.
    Like his animal counterpart, he has a very long blue tongue but doesn't really like making practical use out of it. He also has a very deep voice [not unpleasant but rather lucid]. It's quiet but its deep sound resonates far making it seem loud.
    Due to his stature, Otieno wears worn hand-made clothes and dislikes wearing shoes. He isn't the type for flashy things so wears no jewelry or overly coloured outifts. He prefers going around in just his shorts for comfort and leaves less to clean after a day's work.

    Weapon: Shovel [though it's primarily used just to dig around for clays and other things]
    Personality:
    A very sleepy-eyed individual, Otieno has a quiet demeanour that commands respect and hides a domineering personality (which is seldom realized by others if ever) beneath his passive and calm nature. This polar difference of personality does lead to quite an imbalance, however, that can lead this gentle giant into violent rages. Luckily for others, Otieno's patience is vast and is rarely seen in a vicious rampage. Along with his calm facade, Otieno doesn't look down on others just because of his massive height, though, once in a blue moon, you may see a glimpse of what looks to be arrogance in his eyes. But Otieno's moods are almost always relaxed. Sometimes even to the point of passing out in the middle of conversations for a few minutes at a time. It's a mystery how he can even muster the ambition to create the vast collections of earthenware that he sells.
    Though passive in much of what he does, Otieno is far from submissive and won't back down if he decides to stand up for something he believes. A sleeping dog is just as dangerous as an angry lion.

    Background: Born in a land far away from Arhzung, Otieno was raised in a small and uneventful village. From an early age Otieno had developed an interest in clays and the various arts and began to pursue pottery. He began to make a respectable career out of Pottery and started to make quite a name for himself. However, there was something that he lacked in the art and couldn't further his potential until a travelling merchant from a distant land came to his village. Also a fellow potter, the merchant had wares and goods by the likes never before seen in the land. Otieno quickly took to this man and asked to become an apprentice only to be refused. The merchant, however, did teach Otieno a couple of things about the various clays and materials and revealed that he came from a land called Arhzung where resources were plentiful and rich compared to Otieno's scarce homeland. Soon after, the merchant left, leaving Otieno with a desire to discover this land of Arhzung and take part of its richness. From the few little things Otieno had managed to learn, his pottery skills quickly reached the full potential it could reach using the resources that were available but he wanted to achieve the skill of the traveling merchant. As years past, a drought had settled forcing Otieno's village to migrate. Using this as an excuse, Otieno parted from his family and began a many year journey to find Arhzung.
    A little over 5 years were spent travelling across the mighty Arhzung desert with a roaming caravan. Along the way he met many people and learned many different artistic skills. From jewelry making to tailoring; sculpting to carving; there was soon very little that Otieno did not know how to do. From a natural disposition to sleep very little, Otieno's skills blossomed, however, at the same time, that very same lack of sleep hindered his motivations to complete many projects. Regardless, Otieno made himself a very comfortable living and became a merchant and caravan escort. When his long trek came to its end, Otieno finally found himself upon the very land of Arhzung. Now used to a nomadic lifestyle, Otieno quickly began to travel across the tribelands selling his goods and learning more about the alien culture and customs. He learned about the alliances and decided that it would be safer for himself to pick an alliance should he continue as a merchant. The Neema alliance amongst the Buffalo tribe was the best choice and settled himself in its fields.

    Miscellaneous:
    =Sleeps only ~10 minutes per day
    =Has an amazing skill of sleeping while standing
    =Very skilled at crafting [including jewelry and tailoring] and pottery from extreme excess of time from little to no sleep. However, lacks proper drive and motivation to finish most projects [aside from pottery]. More often than not, commissioned tasks are usually set aside and left imcomplete
    =Spends his days wandering around selling his goods to various villages while nights are spent making pottery and other goods. Certain nights Otieno travels to specific parts of the savannah where he keeps a [kiln or workbench] and storehouse. Three locations in total with each its own specific goods and materials.
    =Travels with a large backpack filled with goods and merchandise. Values resource materials higher than currency when trading/selling.
    =Years spent as an bodyguard, Otieno is very capable of defending himself. Thieves best beware lest you find yourself being struck down by a heavy handed shovel to the face.
    =Unlike 'normal' humans who grow to be his height and beyond, Otieno has a natural disposition to grow to this large stature and does not suffer any health conditions or suffer faults to his body structure.
    =Vegetarian
    =Very passive. You can crawl over him like a jungle gym, braid flowers into his hair, hitch a ride just to say, "Hey, look how high up I am!", and pretty much anything else. However, he does draw the line once make-up is involved.

    -Sells primarily earthenware which includes: pots, jars, plates, cups, vases, utensils, and kettles.
    Other items include: small trinkets [metals, woods, and beads], wind instruments, fabrics and dyes
